The MOTOTRBO R5 LKP enables workforce teams to cut through background noise and stay focused on critical tasks. Equipped with a wideband speaker and an AI-trained noise suppression algorithm, it distinguishes speech from distracting background sounds like heavy machinery, crowds, and vehicles. Intelligent Audio and Received Audio Levelling automatically balance speaker output, preventing missed calls or blaring audio as workers transition between quiet and noisy work areas.
Large rotary channel and volume knobs paired with a tactile PTT button allow confident, error-free operation even while wearing work gloves. The 1.5" monochrome screen displays radio status icons and text messages clearly in a user-selectable two or three-line format. Powered by IMPRES™ energy solutions, the R5 LKP provides up to 32 hours of runtime to keep the radio working across multiple shifts. Integrated Wi-Fi enables over-the-air software updates without returning devices to the workshop.
Engineered to withstand the physical demands of harsh work sites, the R5 LKP meets MIL-STD 810H military specifications and IP67 water submersion standards. Its durability is verified through Motorola's Accelerated Life Testing program simulating 5 years of hard field use.
