The displayless, non-keypad design eliminates fragile front components and prevents accidental button activation during heavy field labor. Fully certified to ATEX and IECEx standards, it operates safely in areas with flammable gases, vapors, mists, or conductive dusts. Its distinctive blue accents ensure instant visual identification, while an integrated sensor alerts users if a non-ATEX battery is installed.
Built to override extreme noise, the R7Ex NKP combines a 2.5 W speaker with dynamic Volume Boost to output speech up to 108 phons. Single-microphone noise cancellation with SINC+ technology and AI algorithms filters out background noise from heavy machinery, pumps, and compressors. Automatic gain control and acoustic feedback suppression deliver clear, comfortable audio without howling.
The R7Ex NKP undergoes rigorous ATEX IP66 and IP68 testing, surviving thermal conditioning and impact tests prior to water submersion. The housing material is formulated to endure repeated cleaning with medical-grade disinfectants. Safety capabilities include Fall Alert (Man Down), Lone Worker, a dedicated emergency button, and location dispatching via GNSS and Bluetooth 5.2. Integrated Wi-Fi supports over-the-air software updates (OTAP).
