Three indicating technologies (stepper motor, moving coil instrument, digital indicator) combined with a platform concept ensure form-fit-function compatibility. In-house obsolescence management maintains unit availability across the entire vehicle life cycle.
ENG indicating units – A round affair for more safety!
The round indicating units ENG 6 to ENG 13 can be controlled either with voltages (AC, DC), currents (DC), or a PWM signal. Indicating units with a 4...20 mA current input feature both a mechanical and an electrical zero point (life zero), allowing easy fault recognition in the current loop. Device versions are available with flat connectors or D-Sub, featuring internal LED or bulb lighting.
EZG indicating units – With summation counter!
Models EZG 10/9 and EZG 13/9 are identical in structure and function to indicators ENG 10/9 and ENG 13/9, but incorporate an additional mechanical 7-digit summation counter (mileage recorder). They offer flexible control and optional LED scale illumination.
EQG indicating units – Square and good!
The EQG../9 indicating units feature a square aluminium housing while providing the same functional capabilities as the ENG series. Integrated long-life LED lighting illuminates the scale. Connectors are available as flat terminals or D-Sub sockets.
Double indicating units EGS – Doubly safe!
EGS indicating units feature two independently operating moving coil instruments whose inputs adapt to current, voltage (AC/DC), or PWM signals for simultaneous reference and actual value display. Model EGS 3/9 az includes an additional 7-digit counter. The EGS 6 unit displays traction and voltage values via a customer-specific RS485 protocol, utilizing a reset-monitored microcontroller and a galvanically isolated DC/DC power supply.
