Modern rail transport demands an uncompromising approach to reliability and functional safety (from SIL1 to SIL4). As the authorized representative of Deuta-WERKE GmbH in Poland, AKSEL Sp. z o.o. delivers integrated onboard systems ranging from advanced sensors and event recorders to cab indicators. The synergy of German engineering and local technical expertise ensures comprehensive project life-cycle support, from custom configuration to long-term obsolescence management.
W tym artykule:
Deuta-WERKE recorders offer a highly stable platform built around a uniform core consisting of a high-performance microprocessor, memory module, and advanced communication architecture. These devices integrate seamlessly into the vehicle’s system architecture as autonomous data hubs, guaranteeing full compliance with stringent railway standards (including EN 50155, EN 50126, EN 50128, and EN 50129).
Data Logging & Retrieval: Adjustable logging resolution, storage on an internal memory card (FIFO loop) with data retention after retrieval, and rapid data offloading via USB or Ethernet.
User-Friendly Operation: Access via a standard web browser and full compatibility with ADS4 data analysis software.
REDBOXlog (Official ETCS Legal Recorder): Equipped with an integrated Profibus interface and dedicated to the international ETCS/ERTMS standard. It executes data downloading in accordance with CENELEC subset 027 and serves as a core component of Automatic Train Protection (ATP) systems.
REDBOXpro (The Versatile Standard): The most popular recorder model in the portfolio, featuring a space-saving design. It can be optionally equipped with an integrated display and keypad for inputting operational parameters (e.g., wheel diameter, driver ID).
REDBOXflex (The All-in-One Platform): A modular architecture designed for 19” rack-mount installation. Engineered for both regional and long-distance rolling stock, it allows for seamless expansion via additional interfaces, fieldbuses, and optional GPS modules.
Deuta-WERKE sensors are engineered to withstand extreme temperatures, mechanical stress, and high-vibration environments. Featuring continuous online self-diagnostics, they provide real-time status updates to the onboard train control systems.
Radar Sensors: Utilize the Doppler effect for contactless measurement of vehicle speed relative to the ground. A patented antenna array works alongside an onboard digital signal processor (DSP) to process telemetry data directly within the unit.
Hall-Effect Sensors: Contactless, miniature solutions offering an exceptionally long service life, ideal for space-constrained and hard-to-reach installation points.
Axle-Mounted Sensors: Highly robust, maintenance-free mechanical solutions resilient against dirt and severe vibrations. The measurement resolution (pulses per revolution) is mechanically defined during production, serving as an immutable source of data integrity.
The final component of the ecosystem involves the data visualization systems for the train driver, available across three core technologies: stepper motors, electromagnetic coils, and digital TFT displays.
The defining advantage of Deuta-WERKE indicators is their guaranteed backward compatibility (Form-Fit-Function). New product generations retain the exact dimensions, mounting configurations, and functionalities of legacy models. This drastically minimizes fleet modernization costs while ensuring a high MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures), compliance with SIL-2 mandates, and a significantly low Life Cycle Cost (LCC).
